Amazed By This Little Sock

Amazed By This Little Sock

It was the middle of the night when we received a red notification. Our boy Sawyer, who was only six weeks old, had a reported heart rate of 265 bpm. Sawyer was still asleep so we turned the Owlet off and restarted it. When the red notification went off again, I removed Sawyer’s swaddle and noticed his breathing appeared labored.

We decided to take Sawyer to our pediatric ER. Sawyer was diagnosed with Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). Because of the information the Owlet gave us, we noticed Sawyer’s high heart rate episodes were continuing at home, so we had to be readmitted to the hospital 12 days later to add another medication. Sawyer remained on medication and saw his cardiologist bi-monthly.

We are so thankful for the Owlet and continue to talk about this product any chance we get! I can still remember how much the doctors and nurses at the children's hospital were amazed by this little sock!
