So worth it.
After early loss in April 2021, having my son had been the best thing to ever happen to me. However, I knew my anxiety about his well-being would not subside once he was here. How is the Dream Sock different from the Smart Sock?
The Dream Sock is designed to help parents ensure that Baby develops healthy sleep habits early on and gets a good night’s sleep. The Smart Sock had features notifying users based on changes to heart rate and oxygen levels outside of preset values. The Dream Sock does not have those notification features, and is not intended to advise users on any deviations from preset values in these measurements. The Dream Sock’s prompts are based on sleep quality indicators but it will not notify parents on the same criteria as the Smart Sock. Dream Sock and Duo are here to help give parents the tools they need to get a better night's sleep for the entire family!
How do the Dream Sock Plus and Dream Sock differ?
The Owlet Dream Sock Plus includes a pair of larger, toddler-sized fabric socks that allow you to track your child’s sleep patterns for up to 5 years old, or 55 lbs. The Dream Sock is another option for parents who only wish to track their child’s sleep patterns up to 18 months old, or 30 lbs.
If you purchase the Owlet Dream Sock, and then later decide you want to monitor your child as they grow, you can purchase the Owlet Extension Pack to continue using the Dream Sock up to 5 years old, or 55 lbs.
Is the Owlet Dream Sock safe?
Yes, when used as instructed, the Dream Sock is safe for daily use with healthy babies. We have engaged in rigorous testing to ensure the Dream Sock is safe for all families. Can my spouse/partner and I both monitor our child via our smartphones?
Multiple caregivers can access Dream Sock readings via the Owlet App from their separate smartphones, but they will need to share access to the same account.
Can my baby wear footie pajamas, a swaddle or a sock with the Owlet Dream Sock?
Yes! The Dream Sock is low profile and fits under a regular sock, footie pajamas, or in a swaddle. Make sure the Sock is in direct contact with your baby's foot and properly placed
