Every Baby: Clinically-Proven, Medical-Grade Accuracy

Every Baby, Every Caregiver

We exist for every baby and every caregiver. We’re proud to share that the Owlet Dream Sock® smart baby monitor has been clinically evaluated for oxygen saturation (SpO2) accuracy across all skin tones (Type I-VI on the Fitzpatrick scale) under motion and non-motion conditions. Dream Sock is accurate within +/- 3% of gold-standard arterial blood gas measurements.*

Dream Sock was additionally evaluated in a study in the home environment, representative of the typical use environment, against an FDA-cleared pulse oximeter. Dream Sock was shown to be accurate not only during infants’ rest but also during gentle motion, like wiggling or feeding.

Owlet Cares Initiatives

Our pursuit of every baby, every caregiver also includes research to further our mission of empowering parents to give care at home. In addition to research to show the accuracy, safety and usability of our technologies in the home, we work with clinicians and research institutions to leverage our set of infant data and power studies. Studies utilizing insights and data from Owlet have been published in peer-reviewed journals, including The Journal of Pediatrics and Frontiers in Pediatrics.

Our goal is to give as many families as possible the opportunity to use our innovative technologies through our Owlet Cares initiatives. Learn more here
