Every so often there are subtle reminders of the why behind the work we are doing.
For me, it’s the Every Baby Summit - our yearly gathering of Owlet Cares partners.
Through our Owlet Cares program, we work with more than 30 parent-led nonprofits from around the world who share in our mission to support babies and families. This year was our seventh annual gathering and by far the most impactful.
We met in Salt Lake City where almost 30 representatives from 10 of these organizations traveled to be with us in person as we spent a full day collaborating, brainstorming, listening and learning as we work towards supporting one another in this important work.
Owlet gets to play a small role in supporting the valuable work these organizations are doing through our 3:1 match program. Last year alone, these groups donated more than 2,000 Owlet devices to families in need around the world. Together, we are reaching more babies and parents, and sharing impactful stories along the way.
This year was incredibly unique as the entire Owlet team traveled in to meet our partners, as well. Hearing our partners’ stories and their passion for making a positive impact in the lives of babies and parents was truly inspiring and reconnects us to our mission. It was the perfect way to launch our team’s planning for all that’s in store for Owlet in 2025 and beyond as we work towards our mission of reaching every baby.
“So grateful to have been able to attend in person this year! It was definitely one of the most inspiring experiences of my life!” - Kayla Borton, Just In Case Foundation
“The partnership between Owlet and its foundations is admirable. As a business who is working on so many moving pieces itself, I would have never expected the overwhelming support and guidance that Owlet provided us in just a few short days. We were asked multiple times, "How can we help you?" Being able to work alongside some of the most innovative, motivated, intelligent, but humble people was an experience and ongoing relationship we will never forget. Thank you Owlet for allowing us to partner with you on this very exciting journey and caring about what we are doing here in Northeast Nebraska." - Brittany Melby-Heimes, Briggs & Barrett Project
