"At just 2 months old, his Owlet Dream Sock started alerting us to high pulse rates while he was sleeping.”
"Vinny was born with tachycardia and spent his first four days in the NICU. When we finally brought him home, everything seemed to be okay.
Then, at just 2 months old, his Owlet Dream Sock started alerting us to high pulse rates while he was sleeping. At first, we thought it had to be a fluke. But then it happened again, and his pulse rate didn’t come back down on its own. That alert led to a three-day hospital stay, countless tests, and appointments with pediatric cardiology.
That's when we learned Vinny has SVT (supraventricular tachycardia). Now he takes medication three times a day to help keep his heart under control.
We'll never know what could have happened if we hadn't had it, but we do know this: it helped give us information so we could catch something that otherwise could have gone unnoticed. For that, we'll always be grateful." - Taylor R.
