“Hays was a happy and healthy 9 month old when he got a virus that led to multiple hospitalizations. We eventually found that he was in heart failure and was diagnosed with severe pulmonary hypertension. Hays was in the hospital for 2 months. He was on ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) for 17 days and was intubated for 35 days.
We are so thankful for our Owlet Dream Sock. Without it, we wouldn’t have known how low Hays’s oxygen was or how high his pulse rate was. We also had a hospital grade pulse ox machine and our Dream Sock was reading exactly the same. This gave us so much confidence in the accuracy of the Dream Sock readings, especially at night. Today, Hays is home doing better.
