"After an initial hospital stay for RSV when she was a couple months old, we picked up our Owlet Dream Sock. On two separate occasions, our Dream Sock allowed us to recognize our little one’s oxygen was low and pulse rate was high. On both occasions, she suddenly seemed lethargic and pale to us during the daytime. We placed our Dream Sock on her to check her readings and decided we needed to go to the ER. Both times, she had respiratory distress and was admitted in the hospital for several days on oxygen.
We are grateful we were able to confirm she was struggling from low oxygen and rushed her to the hospital to get help. I wouldn’t hesitate to pick one up! She is a late term preemie who spent time in the NICU and struggles when she catches RSV or any respiratory illness. Who knows if we had waited longer what could have happened! We are grateful for this technology. The Owlet Dream Sock readings are very close to the readings we were getting in the hospital too. She just got out of her hospital stay last week and is doing much better now." - Bridget G.
