We know you love your Smart Sock 2, but a few important things informed this decision, including ensuring that our customers have the best product experience with the latest FDA-cleared technology.

When will my Smart Sock 2 stop working?

There will be no interruption to your use of Smart Sock 2 through April 8, 2025.

As of April 8, 2025, your Smart Sock 2 will no longer be able to connect to the internet. At this time, we recommend removing your Smart Sock 2 from the Owlet Care App. We understand how much you love your Smart Sock 2, and this change is intended to ensure our customers have the best experience with the latest FDA-cleared technology.

What is the difference between Smart Sock 2 and Dream Sock?

Dream Sock® is an FDA-cleared smart baby monitor and is intended for healthy babies between 1-18 months and 6-30 lbs. Dream Sock includes new Live Health Readings and Health Notifications. Smart Sock was taken off the market in the US and Canada in 2021.
