Those are the guiding tenants behind the work done by Family Equality - an organization working on behalf of LGBTQ+ families across the US, driven by the belief that everyone deserves the right and opportunity to form and sustain a loving family.
For the third year in a row, in honor of Pride Month, Owlet is partnering with Family Equality. During the month of June, a portion of proceeds from the Forever Rainbow Sock will be donated to Family Equality.

Here’s why Family Equality’s work is important to us as we work to achieve our mission of reaching every baby and every parent*:
- About 20 million American adults identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning (LGBTQ+)
- Many of them have or are considering expanding their families
- Research shows that nearly 63% of LGBTQ+ millennials (almost 4 million people) are considering expanding their families in the coming years
- 13 states allow adoption and foster care agencies to turn away LGBTQ+ parents
