Why Pride Month Matters

Those are the guiding tenants behind the work done by Family Equality - an organization working on behalf of LGBTQ+ families across the US, driven by the belief that everyone deserves the right and opportunity to form and sustain a loving family.
For the fourth year in a row, in honor of Pride Month, Owlet is partnering with Family Equality and will be making a donation to their organization.

Here’s why Family Equality’s work is important to us as we work to achieve our mission of reaching every baby and every parent*:
- There are 20 million LGBTQ+ adults living in the United States.
- There are 3.7 million youth living with an LGBTQ+ parent.
- 63% of LGBTQ+ millennials have indicated that they'll start or expand their families in the years to come.
- Nearly 500 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been introduced in 2024.
- For more than 40 years, Family Equality has been a beloved presence in the LGBTQ+ community, and our impact is growing daily.
- Through email, social media, and web visitors, they connect with at least 126,000 families, change-makers, and allies each month.
